Singers

Mountain Ash RFC Singers are always on the look-out for new singers. If you are interested in joining you can either contact our secretary Richard Davies on 07876250847 (v5wrd@aol.com) or just come along to practice. We rehearse every Sunday evening from 7:30pm at the Mountain Ash RFC clubhouse. Wales has a rich history of song, proudly being proclaimed "The Land of Song" by Queen Victoria at The Crystal Palace many years ago. Its incumbent upon us to maintain this strong tradition. Everyone is Welcome. Come along and help us Sing For Wales!

Mountain Ash RFC Singers are a versatile choir,  based in South Wales.  We are a unique male choir in that we sing Acapela (unaccompanied by piano etc) and as a result everything we sing we can sing anywhere. This results in superb social occasions at pubs and functions. We have a wealth of performing experience, having performed in venues throughout South Wales and the UK.

Over the years the Choir has performed for various charities and has helped raised thousands of pounds for a number of worthy causes including Macmillan Nursing, Marie Curie Cancer Care and Medecins Sans Frontiers (UK).

In addition to their charitable work the Choir have entertained at a number of prestigious venues, including the National Stadium in Cardiff, Cardiff Castle, The National Ice Rink, Celtic Manor Hotel and The Birmingham International Conference Center.

The Choir has a remarkable record of successes throughout the U.K. and have appeared on Television on a number of occasions. They have also shared the stage with many famous artists including Michael Ball, who is an honorary member of the Choir.

Since 1975 they have provided musical items for numerous occasions including:
•Charity Events
•Hospitality / Corporate Events
•Concerts
•Weddings
•Celebrations

When ever you are looking for a choir that can provide music to enhance that special day, or event do not hesitate to contact the Secretary to discuss your requirements.
