Mount were grateful to Senghenydd for standing in for Heol Y Cyw who dropped out 48 hours before. It was a competitive game throughout with both teams making changes as and when they wanted. There were four tries for Mount scored by prop Tommy Hunt, backrow forward Dafydd Walters, wing Rhys Williams and centre Jarrod Cushion. There are two away trial games this Saturday, 17 August. The 1st XV squad is in Ystalyfera and the 2nd XV at Neath Athletic, both games kick off at 2:30pm. There is a home game though. Mountain Ash Under 15s welcome Waunarlwydd Under 15s to Duffryn Pennar Park, kick off 1:30pm/2:00pm. Please check with the club before travelling.
