Mountain Ash RFC Singers Pay Tribute to Tom Pullman

On behalf of the members of Mountain Ash RFC Singers I offer sincere condolences to Jill and the family on the passing of her husband Tom.

In addition to being President of the rugby club, Tom was Vice President of the club's choir. Despite his frequent denials, Tom was a closet fan of the choir. With tongue in cheek Tom has gone on record as saying "I would have joined the choir if I hadn't been so tall."

We have fond memories of Tom supporting our successful charity concerts at Hathersage that were so well arranged by his son Michael. Tom was no singer, but he was an accomplished whistler. He didn't need a second invitation to  showcase his talent and used the choir to support him at our post-concert sing-a-longs.

In the long and distinguished history of our club Tom will rank as one of our very best, an Old Firm great who will be sorely missed by us all.
