Four converted tries by Mountain Ash Athletic and a penalty eventually saw off Ynysybwl 2nd XV in a hard fought encounter in Abercwmboi. Mount led 17-3 at half time after playing with the wind. The 'bwl hit back quickly in the second half to make it 17-13, Mount replied with a converted try, but the never-die-die 'bwl team scored another converted try to make it 24-20. Mount upped their game and got over for a converted try to make captain Jonathan Lock a happy man with a cup final win after half a dozen losses. Good on yer Jon.
