Mountain Ash Athletic went on their travels to Abergavenny and came away with their 5^th win in six games. The game was even in the first half but Mount got on top in the second to run out winners. Six tries were scored in total by wing Gareth Williams (2), No.8 Jordan Burke, second row Jordan Mayo, centre P.J. Holdham, and hooker Liam Attwell. Centre Iwan Pearson kicked two conversions. Three of the Mount tries were excellent efforts which finished off long range attacks.

This Saturday, 19 October, the Athletic welcome Beddau 2^nd XV to Caedrawnant for a Rhondda and East Glamorgan Championship game, kick off 2:30pm.
