Mountain Ash 2^nd XV took on 2^nd place Porth 2^nd XV in a Rhondda and East Glamorgan Championship game at Caedrawnant. The Old Firm gave one of their best displays of the season in torrential rain, scoring 8 tries in total. The Mount pack scrummaged strongly all game which led to No.8 Matthew Dixon scoring four pushover tries plus one in loose play to take his personal total to a magnificent five. Hooker Jordan Howe scored two, taking his total for the season up to eight, and wing Gareth Williams also got one. Full back Gavin Roberts converted two to complete a convincing win and take Mount up to 2^nd place behind Brecon 2^nd XV in the League table.
