What a great achievement for the Young Firm as they won the Champion of Champions League trophy with a 26-23 win over Scarlets champions, Crymych Youth, at the Talbot Athletic Ground, the home of Aberavon RFC. The Club’s congratulations go to captain Morgan Cartwright and all the Mount squad, and also to Secretary Tom Cartwright and the Mount coaching team of Peter Rees, Dale Keepin, Gwyn Reddick and Matthew Rees. What a great win, one that will be remembered for years to come. To cap a memorable day all-round for the club, the Mount 1st XV won 30-24 in Treorchy, scoring 5 tries, and finishing the season in style. Full match reports to follow.
