A 25-17 win at the Rec against Rhydyfelin in a midweek game put Mount into the 2nd round of the Coors Mid District Cup. The Old Firm trailed 12-3 at half time but recovered to lead 13-12, and then trail 17-13, before running in two tries to win the match 25-17. Try scorers for Mount were No.8 Jordan Burke, centre Jamie Long, and replacement No.8 Jarrod Morgan. Outside half Declan Conway converted two of the tries and also kicked two penalties.
