Mountain Ash RFC has appointed a new coaching trio for next season all of whom have had distinguished 1st XV playing careers with the club. Dean O'Brien, who was / still is a prop forward who has played 251 games for the club, centre / wing Dale Keepin, who made 223 appearances and scored over 100 1st XV tries, and backrow forward Chris Edmunds, who is the leading 1st XV appearance holder in the National League era and has just played his 370th 1st XV game for the club, will take charge of the Mount senior squad for the 2019/20 season. Mount will play in Division 1 East Central this season and has a young squad with potential.
The Management Committee of the club would like to thank both Mike Butts and Robert Downes for their hard work over the last two seasons and wishes them all the best in the future.
