Mountain Ash 2nd XV notched up their 9th win in 11 games against a Fleur De Lys Development XV at Duffryn Pennar Park in midweek. Both clubs were looking for a game to keep playing due to the break in Saturday fixtures because of the Six Nations. Mount played well in parts and had the better of the first half but Fleur came back at them in the second. The Old Firm eventually run out 29-17 winners through tries by flanker Luke Britain, centre Jack Bruford, hooker Jordan Howe, wing Samuel Akintioye, and full back Will Holley. Outside half Nick Bennett and Holley kicked a conversion each to complete the scoring of a useful game for both clubs.
