Fixture

This was a sublime performance by the Young Firm in this Division 1 Blues Youth League fixture away to Aberdare. The Mount forwards totally dominated the game in attack and defence with the pick of the forwards being Callum Boulder Williams, Owen Jenkins, Lewys Phibben and Kellan Williams. Mount also welcomed back Iwan Pearson into the backline, and although he hadn't played for a year, he did well, organising and marshalling the younger boys. Morgan James looking very assured at full back and converted two of the three tries. Centre Jarrod Cushion had an excellent game and capped it by scoring one of the tries. Flanker Owen Jenkins and prop Lewys Phibben, both of who are starting to make a habit of scoring tries, got one each.All in all, it was the best performance of the season by Mount, with hopes that it will kick start the season.
