Mountain Ash 2nd XV hosted Llantrisant 2nd XV at Caedrawnant in a Division 1 Rhondda and East Glamorgan League game and won their 4th game from 5 outings to move into joint top spot with Beddau 2nd XV. On a pitch covered in snow but soft underfoot, Mount went 6-0 in front with two penalties from centre Nathan Treharne, who made a welcome return from injury. Just before half time, No.8 Darren Dix scored the first try of the match, which Treharne also converted to make it 13-0 at the break. Youth scrum half Cory Roberts got the second half try to complete the scoring and leave the Old Firm 18-0 winners.
