Mountain Ash 2nd XV were grateful to Cilfynydd for agreeing to this game at late notice. Heavy rain in the week running into the game, and during it, ensured conditions were not the best. But Mount stuck to their task and ground out a win, with five tries being scored. No.8 Cameron Davies, full back Gavin Roberts, scrum half and captain Jonathan Lock, hooker Jordan Howe, and flanker Liam Attwell all contributed one try apiece, with outside half Declan Conway converting two and wing Nathan Treharne one to complete the scoring.
