Mountain Ash 2^nd XV were grateful to visitors Penygraig 2^nd XV for filling in at short notice. Mount put in their best display of the season and scored seven tries by scrum half Ross Davies, who was returning from injury (2), with No.8 Jarrod Morgan, flanker Tom Withers, scrum half and captain Jonathan Lock, outside half Nick Bennett and wing Sean Williams getting one each. Nick Bennett put in a good kicking display as well, converting 6 of the 7 tries. The try of the match was started by scrum half Jonathan Lock on the Mount try line and went the length of the field with nearly all the Mount team having a hand in a great team try which wing Sean Williams scored in the corner to great applause.
